The Industrie 4.0 Maturity Index provides an answer: Within a compact, "crisp" project, the digital maturity level of your company is determined and a digital roadmap is developed. The roadmap consists of numerous actions, developed and detailed by Fraunhofer IML experts, and gives your company clearly formulated recommendations for action for the next steps within the digital transformation and on the way to Industrie 4.0.

The special feature of the methodology is its comprehensive approach, according to which Industrie 4.0 can only be introduced sustainably in a company, exploiting its full potential, if there is uniform development at the four levels of resources, information systems, organization and culture.

The Maturity Index was developed on the basis of the study of almost the same name from 2017.

The implementation at your site is carried out with a project team of three people, initially on three workshop days.

The focused company areas are examined by means of a one-day, intensive plant tour, and one-and-a-half-hour interviews are conducted with the responsible employees on each of two subsequent days. Based on these results, the project team determines the digital maturity levels of the status quo within all the processes under consideration using the four levels of the Industrie 4.0 Maturity Index:
