The Center for Logistics and Mobility is located in the House of Logistics and Mobility (HOLM) at Frankfurt Airport since January 2015. Our researchers in Frankfurt work on the three main topics Aviation Logistics, Mobility and Procurement & Finance in Supply Chain Management. The project center Aviation Logistics, which has existed for 25 years, is now a part of the Center for Logistics and Mobility. The researchers in the field Mobility develop innovative concepts for passenger transport and freight transport, mobility and health in times of demographic change and the combination of traditional travel supplies with e-Carsharing solutions.
Procurement & Finance in Supply Chain Management focus on the procurement of logistic services, increasing productivity by procurement and management of procurement processes and supply chains. By extending the interdisciplinary logistics research and connecting technologies and management we break new ground in Frankfurt. We promote the topics of the future – internet of things and internet of services – together with partners from research and industry.
