Last year, the KION Lab's cooperation partners once again demonstrated their high level of attention, passion and problem-solving skills. For example, the project team and application partner DPD tested the LoadRunner under real-life conditions in the parcel service provider's Cologne warehouse. The two-week endurance test showed the enormous potential for further development of the technology. The first practical impressions were very positive: "The LoadRunner impresses with its speed and swarm intelligence and represents a radical change for us," says Lukas Bauer, Senior Group Manager Corporate Real Estate & Technology at DPD Germany. In daily practice, the fast implementation and high scalability of the classification system are particularly noticeable. In addition, the test provided important insights that will flow into the further development and industrialization of the LoadRunner. The collaboration with KION in the Enterprise Lab will continue in 2023.
