What is Big Data?

Big Data means solutions that enable the efficient storage, processing, analysis and evaluation of large, unstructured amounts of data. Different concepts and technologies allow not only the processing of existing databases, but also the integration and management of real-time data (e.g. sensor and AutoID data) of various kinds. The big advantage of Big Data methods is that they can analyze and evaluate information without defined data structures. Data analyses are dynamically adapted to the application and continually expanded. The results are prepared according to your needs and create a valid basis for the future.

In logistics, the use of large amounts of data opens up new possibilities: Through the linked analysis of internal company and external data, well-founded forecasts can be generated that support you in your decisions or in the development of new service and product offerings.
